The Reverberation Appreciation Society is proud to release out first 7 inch record, The Meek – Grave 7 “, coming out March 20th.
The heart of THE MEEK is bassist Amy Lee and guitarist Jeff Lee. Their signature sound is characterized by hypnotic guitars, demure vocals, monolithic drum machine, a philosophical theme to the lyrics and an outsider attitude. The songs are ominous and dark, captivating and primitive in their minor-key melodies and steady drone, modern yet psychedelic.
This release features two tracks from The Meek:
A – “GRAVEâ€
Jeff’s haunting vocals rest on top of a pulsating beat, tangled and entrancing. Additional guitar by Singapore Sling’s Henrik Bjornsson, tambourine by Aly Leif, continental organ by Ramses, and atmospheric vocals by The Black Angels’ Alex Maas.
B – “YOUâ€
Amy’s enigmatic vocals and heavy bass throb over a well-worn drumbeat. Featuring guitars by Gregg Foreman, Henrik Bjornsson, and The Black Angels’ Christian Bland.
The 7 inch will be available in a black vinyl limited edition of 500 with silver screen printed packaging. Pre-sale starts on March 6th at 12PM CST at austinpsychfest.com, with orders shipping out March 20th.
