Paganini Horror

Paying its respects to the music video generation, Paganini Horror is a twisted tale of time travel and revenge. When an all-girl rock band records an unpublished song by Niccolò Paganini – the 19th Century composer said to have sold his soul to the Devil – what ensues is a skin-tight spandex nightmare of cheesy power ballads and Suspiria-influenced lighting. Bring out the popcorn for this one!

Hobgoblins

Rick Sloane’s 1988 indie horror comedy features small demon-like mythical creatures (a la the infamous Gremlins' trilogy). These Hobgoblins make no exception for idle curiosity and the results are deadly! We have the Vinegar Syndrome film preservation to thank for time-capsuling this cult classic; stream it on Night Flight Plus today!

Deep Blood

For all you 80’s teen horror film buffs, check out EuroSleaze master Joe D'Amato’s sharkspoitation Deep Blood! Scanned in 2K from the original negative, you can delve deep into all your blood-curling shark nightmares (and check out so many other titles in their Shark Zone: Deep Cuts genre while you’re at it)!

The Decline of Western Civilization trilogy

Penelope Spheeris’ three-part documentary extends two decades from the late 1970’s through the late 90’s, shedding a light on LA’s punk scene and heavy metal movement, followed by the city’s gutter punk lifestyle of teenage street kids. For music genre and community buffs, put these on your must-watch list!

Night Train to Terror

A fun rock ‘n’ roll anthology, Night Train to Terror takes you aboard a fast moving caravan bound for Hell, with God and Satan decide the fates of three unfortunate mortals: a man hypnotized into an organ-harvesting scheme, a woman seduced into joining a deadly masochistic cult, and a devout Catholic on a mission to destroy the Antichrist. Watch this one with your gang who love oddball horror curiosities.

Cat in the Brain

Horror maestro Lucio Fulci’s psychological haunt Cat in the Brain also stars in this film as a director being driven insane by his own movies. Fulci makes sure to turn the dial up on the gore for this one. For fans of 8 ½ and Eraserhead you won’t want to sleep on this flick!

L7 - Pretend We’re Dead

Prepare for an all-access journey into the 90's grunge movement with L7, the band that helped define it as the genre of a generation. Featuring vintage home movies, never-before-seen performance footage and candid interviews, Pretend We're Dead is an engrossing time capsule told from the perspective of the band themselves. Plus you can also tune in to the infamous ‘97 documentary L7 The Beauty Process directed by Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic.

Funeral Parade of Roses

Japanese experimental director Toshio Matsumoto’s Funeral Parade of Roses portrays a headlong dive into a dazzling Tokyo night-world of drag queen bars and fabulous divas, fueled by booze, drugs and fuzz guitars. Kubrick cites this one as a giant influence on A Clockwork Orange and it's a dazzling and haunting achievement if we do say so ourselves.

Santa Sangre

You know you're always in for a wild treat when it comes to Alejandro Jodorowsky films. Santa Sangre follows a young man named Fenix (played by Jodorowsky's own son) starting from his traumatizing childhood through the present attempting to live a normal life. Combining horror, poetry and surrealism, this cult film is nothing less than extraordinary.

The Peanut Butter Solution

Despite it's innocent-sounding title, prepare yourself for the damage that awaits your psyche. This weirdo Canadian kids' horror-comedy film is a Goosebumps' book gone awry -- including scenes of child baldness, psychotic teachers and an icky concoction that grows long lustrous pubes, you'll never be the same after watching this again.

Joy Division: Under Review

Charting the entire brief but brilliant lifespan of the group, Joy Division: Under Review features rare live performances, photography and interviews for Ian Curtis über fans. The documentary also gives insight from the journalists and writers who lived and breathed Manchester's Joy Division at the time, including David Stubbs, John Robb and more.

Microwave Massacre

Featuring comedian and actor Jackie Vernon in his final feature role, Microwave Massacre is a deadpan horror-comedy about a husband's drive to cannibalism after one too many arguments with his nagging wife. Pop this one on the screen after a long work week for an extremely ridiculous and entertaining viewing.

Night Flight: Mega Video Vault

Featuring dozens of original Night Flight episodes, this streaming series captures their variety television show that originated on cable TV network back in 1981. Their episode for Mega Video Vault is a carefully curated selection of innovative music videos a la Devo, Elvis Costello, Grace Jones and more; stream this one to your 80's lovin' heart's content!
